Spanish Language Translator for the Website - Volunteer

  • Role: A Spanish language translator who will translate the English version of the website into Spanish. 

  • Skills: Complete fluency in both English and Spanish, including knowledge in political terminology in both languages.

  • Hours: 0-5 per week. Hours will depend on amount of work available, although 5 hours will be the maximum asked in any week.

Spanish Language Translator for the US Branch - Volunteer

  • Role: A Spanish language translator who will translate material for the US Branch from English to Spanish.

  • Skills: Complete fluency in both English and Spanish, including knowledge in political terminology in both languages.

  • Hours: 0-5 per week. Hours will depend on amount of work available, although 5 hours will be the maximum asked in any week.

Political Researcher for Oklahoma Chapter (US Branch) - Volunteer

  • Role: A researcher who will explore Oklahoma's political system and compile information to be of use for the Oklahoma chapter's project on explaining the systems of government and elections in Oklahoma.

  • Skills: Ability to uncover information on political systems, understand the information uncovered and process it in a way that makes it more easily legible to others. 

  • Hours: 5 hours. Hours likely to decrease to '2-5' once enough data has been collated.

Unstructured Invitation

Although we are looking for specific roles for Tarka Accord, we are very open to other types of volunteering that people can bring to the table and invite anyone who is interested in Tarka Accord to contact us about volunteering even if no specific listing is relevant.
