Who We Are

We are a group focused on making a difference through the arts and through crafting, we focus on a few different ways to make a difference whether that be making blankets for the homeless, making scarves to sell to support yourself, make flyers for local organizations that need a little help making one, mending or making your own clothes, making a banner for the next protest or simply to just make something for the fun of it to for your own mental health, there are numerous things you can do. We are a solution focused group, while we acknowledge how bad things have gotten in this country we strive to make our town, state, country and world better in small ways. Our mission statement is simple; We resist through our crafts, through our arts and through our kindness. We do not focus on doing protests ourselves but rather focus on meetups and community building.

Our Values

We are inclusive, we are pro LGBTQ+ rights, women’s right to choose, pro immigrant, anti racist, for the rights of the disabled and neurodivergent, support freedom of religion/freedom from religion, are for free speech, anti violence(not counting self defense), for protecting and supporting our kids, our homeless, our veterans and our soldiers, pro-Ukraine, pro-Palestine, anti-Hamas and pro-democracy.

We are also inclusive to those who voted for Trump but have left the MAGA movement and ask that they are not harassed, likewise we ask any former Trump supporter that they listen to the stories of the marginalized people who have been hurt not just by this administration but throughout our history as a nation, to listen to their stories and understand them, we ask as well that you help us fight against this fascist takeover of our country and work towards a truly better future.

Our Structure

Craft supply distribution which is having a network for people to offer their supplies or ask for what they need for their own projects, they can ask to meetup in a public place, have a meetup where people can give, trade or take supplies they need and we’re currently looking into having spaces at businesses and other privately owned or community owned places called 'Crafters' Spaces' where people can come and drop off the supplies they don’t need or take what they want (this acts in much the same way as a Little Free Library).

Mutual aid support which is helping other organizations that need things such as reusable diapers, reusable pads, cloth masks, blankets and other necessary items, this is done through our 'sidequest' system - further explained: here.

Meetups and meetings in person meetups help grow community and allow for those attending to possibly learn a new craft, our in person meetups try to feature a speaker who can talk about a wide variety of subjects from their own organization that they’re representing to more educational subjects such as the Tulsa race massacre or local politics. Online meetings allow for those who can’t or don’t want to go out to have a way to hang out with each other or make plans for future events.

Protest tables are a way for people to come and make their own protest signs, they can also have crafting supplies people can look through and take.
